Want to know how I think?
This blog is my journal of thoughts and musings that crop up as I go through daily life as an older female entrepreneur in rural Australia. I help other small businesses and solopreneurs get started online, and this brings up questions and concerns that I answer here for the benefit of others.
My particular passion is for helping ,mid-years and over women. 50+ women often have oodles of life & business skills but may be struggling with tech skills and building an online presence. For women like me, the underlying motivation for building a business is often the desire for freedom and security, along with sharing our passion for what we love with the world. Older women, who have perhaps experienced major family upheaval such as divorce, a career ending, or children leaving home, are increasingly looking for independence and stability. Solopreneurship offers a way to achieve these goals, but is not an easy road.
I (sometimes) blog about issues faced by rural female solopreneurs, marketing quietly and honestly, website design and maintenance, building an effective online presence, and the importance of simplicity and joy. I hope you find something of interest and value here!
What type of site do I need?
What should my website look like? How many pages? What information should I provide? That depends on the goals of your business and purpose of your site.
The Purrfect Website
What makes the perfect website? The answer to that question can be hotly debated, and depends on the purpose of the site.
